Ronda brings over 20 years of health care compliance experience to the firm. Ronda is Certified in Health Care Compliance (CHC) through the Health Care Compliance Association. She is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and a Fellow with the AAPC, and a Certified Coding Specialist – Physician Based (CCS-P) with the American Health Information Management Association.

In her prior roles Ronda managed Provider Compliance as well as the Fraud, Waste and Abuse Program for a large health plan in Oklahoma and served as a Quality Improvement Analyst, Senior Financial Analyst for Revenue Compliance, and Corporate Compliance Project Manager with a large Mid-Western health system with territories in several states. Ronda is an accomplished speaker and has spoken for several national organizations, including the Health Care Compliance Association, American Health Information Management Association and BONES. Ronda also served as an adjunct instructor for a university in their Physician Assistant Program meeting with the PA students 3 times during their final year to teach documentation guidelines, coding basics, and incident-to requirements. She has also had several articles published and has served as the President and Treasurer for the Springfield, MO AAPC Chapter.

 

Ronda’s expertise in regulatory compliance, chart auditing, and education are invaluable to ACI’s clients. 

 

Ronda is a member of the Health Care Compliance Association, AAPC and the American Health Information Management Association.
